Independent Financial Planning
We advise on every aspect of Financial Planning

I have been advising clients on their financial affairs for over 30 years now. Clients I first saw in 1986 are still being advised by me today along with their children and grandchildren.
People ask me why my business has been successful and why my clients are still with me after all these years, and I always say its down to two things; service and also the fact that I keep things simple and talk to a client in language they can understand. That’s what I want when I seek professional advice from other fields, if I ring and speak to my adviser I want to feel I’m valued, that I’m not being a nuisance and that I’m being listened to.
I advise on all areas of financial services, whether it be on a mortgage, life assurance or other protection areas, on savings that aren’t quite working at the moment, or if a client would simply like a full review of their financial affairs, they will be looked after in a friendly professional manner, and spoken to in plain understandable English, just like I would want myself.

I get frustrated when I see a client for the first time and they have pensions and savings plans that were taken out years before and have never been offered a review or received a service call while they are paying for an ongoing service. To me that is unacceptable and poor business practice, like buying a new car and never having it serviced, and of course the same should apply to financial affairs which also need regular servicing.
I also have two very firm rules, which has put me in good stead over my time as a professional adviser.
Firstly I would never leave a client until they fully understood exactly what they are buying and I wouldn’t recommend any product unless I was prepared to purchase that product myself.
Personalised &
Face to Face
After a brief chat over the phone where you would outline your needs and circumstances to us we would arrange a no obligation initial consultation, face to face so we can get to know you and your current financial situation and just as importantly for you to get to know us.
This meeting can take place either in the comfort of your own home or business premises, at our offices or at a mutually agreed venue such as a local hotel or meeting room.
The average time for a first meeting is usually an hour but can vary depending on how simple or complex your needs are.
Expert & Professional Advice
Once we have conducted the initial meeting we would go away, analyse your needs and circumstances and write a report with our full recommendations.
I’m registered with the FCA and fully qualified to give financial advice on all areas previously mentioned.
When clients come to me they know from the first meeting that they are in very safe hands and will be looked after in a professional manner.
Stress Free &
No Fuss
Financial planning can be quite stressful.
My job is to take the stress away from you completely and to handle your financial planning from start to finish recommending what is appropriate for you based on your needs and objectives.
It doesn’t end there of course, once you are a client you will be given a first class service and be looked after in a caring and professional way.
When you have an ongoing service with us this means clients can speak to me as much or as little as they wish, I’m literally only a call, an SMS or an email away.
